With just two games remaining in the 2010 season for the Miami Dolphins and with only a couple of days until Christmas, John Congemi has put together his holiday wish list. While the Dolphins have been mathematically eliminated from post-season contention, there are still goals to be met and accomplishments to achieve against the Lions and Patriots. Keep reading to see what Congemi wants to see in Weeks 16 and 17…
Guest Blog, by John Congemi:
*First and foremost, I’m wishing for victory against Detroit and New England. A 9-7 record doesn’t get us where we need to be at the end of the season, but finishing the season with two victories is something this team must accomplish. These players, coaches and fans deserve to see their team play well at home on Sunday against an improving Lions football team.
*I would like to see Chad Henne connect with anyone on a pass down the field when he takes his shot! A big play or a chunk yardage play is something that this team has lacked all season long.
*I would like to see Ronnie Brown or Ricky Williams hit the line of scrimmage full speed without the need to stop because there’s nowhere to go!
*Taking an early lead at home and making it a two score game would also be something that I’m wishing for on Sunday. Let’s see how dominating our defense can be playing with a two score lead!
*I’m wishing that our defense catches the football (and runs with it) over the last two weeks of the season. A return that tilts the field in our favor would also be nice!
*Lastly, I would like Dan Carpenter to make his next attempt because he’s deserves to finish on a positive note!
