The start of Dolphins practice brought back the return of rapper Chad Pennington. Master “P” first burst onto the scene back on October 15th when he lip synched his first Eminem rap. Now, coming off the announcement this week that he was returning behind center as the team’s starting quarterback, Pennington chose “Lose Yourself’ to loosen up his teammates during the stretch prior to practice getting underway.
It brought laughter to the group, but perhaps Chad also chose the Eminem song to convey a message to the team. The song begins with the lyrics “Look, if you had one shot or one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted in one moment would you capture it or just let it slip?” This Sunday the Dolphins have an opportunity to seize the moment and perhaps capture the second half of the season to make a playoff push.
Jesse Agler joined me for Finsiders TV to talk about Pennington’s rap, how the Titans will look to wrap up Pennington on Sunday, and the unknowns facing the team with the debut of Randy Moss and the uncertainty of who Tennessee will start at quarterback.
