Cameron Wake made a name for himself playing in the Canadian Football League where he was named CFL Defensive Player of the Year in both 2007 and 2008 after piling up 39 sacks over those two years. So, what are neighbors to the north already knew, we may be finding out now, that Cameron Wake is a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks.
Cameron joined the Dolphins last season and played behind the likes of Joey Porter and Jason Taylor learning the ins and outs of the NFL. Now, with Porter and Taylor playing elsewhere Cameron has stepped into the spotlight and seized the moment. He has four and a half sacks in the last 3 games with a total of 6 and a half on the season. That’s a half a sack better than the entire Bengals defense has accumulated.
Cameron met with the media to talk about how he’s found success on the field getting to opposing quarterbacks, and if he ever had any doubt he could bring his CFL success to the NFL.
