Let’s go out and get a solid Cornerback now. There are a few good ones on the market.
agreed
The dolphins is get in a secondary person in the draft that is what I know for sure hopely and it might be xavier rhodes from fsu or either wr Keenan Allen from cal that is going to be there first round pick both are good but i hope they can get a four to five star cb from the free agent and get Keenan from cal cause he’s beast
Agreed we need a strong back field
true
I dont see why we did not pick up the greatest safety on our time Ed Reed for 5 million per year? we were paying 2nd rate corners 3-4 million a year. Then trade our #12 pick for Revis Island. Then go into the draft and pick up a few 2nd round WR / CB / and OT.
Look at the roster now and tell me we need ONE DB, every year the same sh….t.
a triplefix thier going to get brent grimes from atlanta da number one corner still left and he good he only interested in us we go get him and in da draft we go get cornerback xavier rhodes from fsu problem solve we got dis
Looks like they start from scratch again in the secondary. I don’t understand why they let Sean Smith go. Will Marshall be healthy enough to return after back surgery? Are they going to let McDaniel go too? Needs: a solid TE, a CB, a DE another LT and S.
We should be trying to get a receiving TE and this will allow Fasano to play more as a blocking TE.
fasano is now on the cheifs believe
Good morning mr. velocitor, one question please. Fasano blocks for the Fins out of KC, i think his arms are not long enough to do that.
Hello Mr ‘know-it-all’ triplefix. When i posted previously i was not aware of Fasano signing with KC. So who is the smart-arse now?
we need to trade with the cheifs and get Dee milliner
did jake long sign with someone else yet? if so the fins definitely need to draft or sign a/some solid OL to protect tannenhill. wallace is useless if tannenhill has no time to let wallace get down the feild n air it out.
get a damn RB ,theres got to be someone better than the draft, get real were are tired of losing and hearing about the Pats.I think the pride left with Shula.
use one of their 3rd round picks and take a chance on latimore from south carolina
Rings are won on the line of scrimmage. A team doesn’t need a star running back, just need a solid runner that can break a tackle here and there. Reggie was having an awsome year until the defenses figured out how to play the Dolphins limited offense. In the NFL, defenses figure new offensive schemes out relatively quickly. You need to be solid up front. An example would be how New Englands has not had success against the Ravens in the past. They have all the weapons, but the ravens defense can shut them down.

To completely CRUSH free-agency… my personal wish list:
Dumervil (he already got $4.25M in Dead Money from Denver),
Grimes at one corner to replace Patterson (may be cheaper too),
Revis at the other, yes I said Revis (Jets only want a 1st round pick),
Pollard (the Patriot killer) – replace Clemons as starter,
but keep Celmons (excellent back-up),
Give up 1st Round Pick for Revis – “Worth It” (12 is too late for D Milliner),
LT – 1st pick in the 2nd round… I personally love LANE, instant starter,
TE – 2nd pick in the 2nd round… Project TE,
Two project corners in 3rd round, since we have Grimes & Revis.
With a few strategic cuts in on the roster…
Patterson $4.6M Cap Savings – CUT/Replaced with Grimes
Soliai $6.3M Cap Savings – move Odrick inside
That’s 10.9M more to the Cap in Savings right there…
Sign Starks to a long time deal (couple of Mil saving there),
plus what we already have left over approx. $12-15M….
It could be possible… Maybe… It would be tight…
BUT WOULDN’T IT BE NICE !!!
GO PHINS !!!!
Feed Back welcomed and appreciated…
Revis is not a good move to me would i be pist at the trade not really but just think about they just dont want a first they want multiple picks way to risky for a guy coming off ACL surgery thats not to big for me but giving up a first round pick for a player that next year there is no way u resign him he is going to want to be the highest paid defensive player even if we have the money we will be in cap jail for years to come and we wont be able to pay Tannehill or Wake or Starks or Pouncey or Jones a highly good safty who should have been in the pro bowl so you would be willing to give up multiple high draft picks and all are young franchise players for just one shut down corner also no need for a project TE have three already have a potent receiving TE in Dustin Keller who is only in his 5th season Charles Clay who is versatile can block and has very good hands and is only in his 3rd year and we have engram to work on his 2nd year nee to keep Solia Odrick isnt the size for a DT plus its not like the o line where G move to LT
@Jas88: Exactly. Reggie Bush gave the Fins something they hadn’t had in ages – a legitimate threat in the backfield. Daniel Thomas?!?!? I don’t think so (can you say Sammie Smith?!?!?). Tannehill isn’t proven and may or may not work out at QB – despite that we’ve got a nice set of receivers now. But with the excellent defensive upgrades this team has made, the way to the playoffs is to grind it out on the ground, eat up the clock, the old fashioned way. Problem is that none of the free agent RBs is worth a damn. Hopefullly the Fins can land somebody like Michigan State’s LeVeon Bell, who’s about the only big power back prospect in what I call the “dwarf draft”, where nearly all the RB prospects are under 6 feet tall. A trade’s possible, too, I guess, though unlikely.
Wrong Fins Definitly should leave the TE spot alone and work on Corners and RB i would say draft a great CB in the first round and get one outta free Agency and then try and draft Alabama RB Lacey he would be a great fit last things fins need are T and S and honestly u can fill anyone in there doesnt matter to me there are good options out there
I think the signings are all positive for Miami and we are looking good for next season. Lets all hope thinks are starting to turn around and we can charge towards the payoffs.
