Alabama OT DJ Fluker is a popular pick with some draft analysts at #12.

We’re now just two days away from the start of the 2013 Draft and with all kinds of rumors flying around, it’s time to take one last look at some mock drafts to see what the gurus and experts think the Dolphins will do with the 12th overall selection.

Without accounting for potential trades, below you will find a selection of selections and where the experts think the Dolphins will turn in the first round on Thursday night:

Mel Kiper, Jr., ESPN: [2] DJ Fluker, OT, Alabama

They could easily move up to get Johnson or Fisher as well.

Pat Kirwan, CBSSports.com: [3] Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State

I was told by one secondary coach that Rhodes is the top corner on their board. If he’s still available when Miami picks they solve the loss of Sean Smith.

Gil Brandt, NFL.com: [4] Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas

If this comes to fruition, it’ll be loudly booed, because fans in Miami think the Dolphins need an offensive lineman or even another receiver, but I think this is the best way for them to improve their defense. Vaccaro is a great, great competitor, someone who can be the glue for the back end of this unit; just having him on the field will make Miami tougher.

Charley Casserly, NFL.com: [5] Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State

Rhodes or rapidly rising Desmond Trufant? The Florida State product is rated higher on most boards.

Matt Miller, BleacherReport.com: [6] Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU

Ziggy Ansah opposite Cameron Wake? AFC East offenses won’t want to see that.

Todd McShay, ESPN: [7] Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama

No analysis given.

Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com: [8] DJ Fluker, OT, Alabama

Whether via the draft or adding a veteran via free agency or trade, Miami must address the gaping hole left by Jake Long if general manager Jeff Ireland’s aggression this offseason is going to pay off. Fluker’s length and physicality make him an ideal fit at right tackle, meaning second-year pro Jonathan Martin would be making the jump to left tackle.

Josh Norris, NFL.com: [9] Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina

As of publishing, the Dolphins had not acquired Branden Albert. Cooper cannot play on the edge, but he would solidify one of the interior positions.
