Jaworski Likes Miami Over New England
By on September 7, 2013 at 9:30 am

Ryan JAXPer ESPN NFL Nation’s James Walker, the Miami Dolphins are being taken seriously by at least one national analyst. Ron Jaworski, an analyst at ESPN, believes Miami has what it takes to take out the New England Patriots this year and claim the division title.

“Sooner or later, someone will overtake the Patriots, and I saw a much-improved team last season under coach Joe Philbin,” Jaworski said.

Not only did Miami improve on the field last season in their first year with Joe Philbin at the helm, but they also made a concerted effort to improve during the offseason by signing big name talents like Mike Wallace, Dannell Ellerbe, Philip Wheeler and Brent Grimes.

The Dolphins also made some noise by trading up in the draft to select Dion Jordan third overall in hopes he will be able to complement Pro Bowl defensive end Cameron Wake.

“Offensive coordinator Mike Sherman has done a great job bringing along Ryan Tannehill,” Jaworski continued, “and now Mike Wallace gives him a big, downfield weapon. If Dion Jordan evolves as expected, he and Cameron Wake will be nightmares for QBs.”
