The release date of the NFL schedule is always something of a mystery–though usually takes place just before the NFL Draft.
Per John Ourand of Sports Business Journal, the magic date this year will be Tuesday, April 16th:
Source: NFL releases its schedule April 16, giving the league 3-1/2 weeks to work out an agreement with MLB/Orioles for the kick-off game.
— John Ourand (@Ourand_SBJ) March 21, 2013
The report makes sense, as the 2012 schedule was also released on the Tuesday of the week before the Draft.
The Dolphins (and all teams) already know their opponents for the season–they’re just waiting on dates and times.
Miami will entertain their usual AFC East opponents: New England, Buffalo and the Jets in addition to Atlanta, Baltimore, Carolina, Cincinnati and San Diego at Sun Life Stadium while traveling to take on the Pats, Bills, Jets, Browns, Steelers, Saints, Bucs and Colts.
