REPORT: Dolphins to Sign LB Philip Wheeler

The Dolphins have reportedly continued to stay busy on what was the first day and is now the first night of free agency, as ProFootballTalk.com has reported that the team has reached an agreement with LB Philip Wheeler.

The 28-year old Wheeler played the first four years of his NFL career in Indianapolis before signing a one-year contract with the Raiders in 2012.
With Oakland, he posted career-highs in tackles (109), sacks (3) and forced fumbles (2). He becomes the second LB reportedly added to the Dolphins today, along with former Raven Dannell Ellerbe.
