The depth on the Dolphins offensive line may have suffered another blow, as tackle Will Yeatman reportedly tore his ACL during Wednesday’s practice.
A converted tight end, Yeatman had seen increased playing time in the previous two games, often checking in as eligible to play as an “extra” offensive lineman.
Originally a lacrosse player at Notre Dame and Maryland, Yeatman picked up football during his senior season with the Terrapin. He would sign on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2011, before joining Miami later that year.
Dolphins offensive tackle Will Yeatman has a torn anterior cruciate ligament, according to league sources.
