According to multiple media reports, including that of the Miami Herald’s Armando Salguero, Dolphins Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey will begin the season on the team’s 53 player roster. Some had speculated that Pouncey’s injury, which caused him the team to place him on the PUP list at the beginning of training camp, would lead the team to leave the fourth-year center on the reserve/PUP list to begin the year, which would result in Pouncey missing the first six games of the 2014 season.

Pouncey made the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career following the 2013 season and has started 46 out of a possible 48 games in his three years with the team.
