Following yesterday’s full padded practice, the team returned to the field this morning for a lighter workout wearing just shorts and helmets. While the pads may have been absent today, the intensity wasn’t. 11-on-11 team drills pitted the offense vs. the defense for most of the day, giving the two hour session a noticeable game like feeling. The highlight of practice came in the final period, where the first team offense went up against the first team defense in a two minute scenario that ended with a last second touchdown grab by receiver Rishard Matthews.
