There are numerous ways to describe the 2011 season but overall the Miami Dolphins fell significantly short of everyone’s expectations. After struggling through the first half of the season (starting 0-7) the Dolphins finally notched their first victory of the year at Kansas City 31-3! The team continued to play with more consistency winning five of there next eight football games, and looked like a team that could compete with anyone in the NFL at the end of the season!
It’s not often that NFL players get to celebrate the holidays at home with there families, but this Sunday will be different when the Miami Dolphins travel to face the New England Patriots this Saturday afternoon. Dolphins running back Reggie Bush talks about some of those family memories enjoying those moments, as well as celebrating being named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
The Thanksgiving match-up against the Dallas Cowboys (7-4) was disappointing only because I felt that the Miami Dolphins (3-8) put themselves in a position to win versus a quality opponent, and didn’t get it done! It was clear from the start of the game that the Dolphins have the ability and talent to defeat playoff caliber teams, but sometimes lack the ability to take advantage of opportunities playoff teams display.
