The Dolphins and Raiders are both 5-5 and looking to put together a string of victories that will propel them towards postseason play. Oakland is looking to win their third straight at home since 2003, while the Dolphins hope for their 5th straight victory at Oakland.

Jesse Agler joined me for Finsiders TV to talk about the two teams and how different their division battles look as they come in with identical records.

In his final chat with the media before Sunday’s game at Oakland, Dolphins coach Tony Sparano was asked about several injured players. WR Brandon Marshall was once again not at practice today, and Sparano said he has made a decision on whether or not he will travel with the team this afternoon as they head to the west coast. Meanwhile, QB Chad Pennington, who is on injured reserve, will not travel, which isn’t a huge surprise, but is nonetheless noteworthy because of his “coaching” abilities on the sideline.

The Rookie Defensive End joined the show today to discuss going up against his brother’s team, the Cincinnati Bengals, on Sunday. Clifton also told us how close he was to having a significant impact on the outcome of the Steelers game.

It has been a weekend of change not only for the Dolphins, but all around the NFL, as teams have been making cuts and scouring the waiver wire for late roster additions. Today, after an initial delay, Dolphins coach Tony Sparano met with the media to discuss the changes.

Prior to the coach coming into the room, the team officially announced that they had waived DE’s Charles Grant and Marques Douglas as well as guard Cory Procter.
