With the Dolphins and Patriots getting ready for Sunday’s game at Gilette Stadium, here is the official injury report for the game, as released by the teams on Friday afternoon:

MIAMI:

LB Karlos Dansby/OUT/Toe*

TE Anthony Fasano/OUT/Knee

T Lydon Murtha/OUT/Head

CB Nolan Carroll/QUESTIONABLE/Head (limited practice today)

*Late Friday afternoon, the team announced that Dansby has been placed on injured reserve.

The Dolphins will play their final game of the 2010 season on the second day of 2011 this Sunday against the Patriots. While the Fins will then turn their attention to next year after the game, the Pats will be heading into their playoff bye week before hosting a second round playoff game the following week.

This was, according to a lot of people, supposed to be a rebuilding year for New England.
