Victory! Yes, the exhilarating feeling that you get from winning can sometimes make you forget the game before or weeks of disapointment. Yesterday, the Miami Dolphins finally got win number one on the season and it was in dominating style, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-3. The Chiefs were winners of four straight and leaders of the AFC West coming into yesterday’s game, but Miami totally dominated the the football game in every aspect.
Not only did the Fins score more points than they had in any game this season, they allowed fewer than they had in any game, making a perfect recipe for victory. The three points, in fact, were the fewest allowed by the Dolphins’ defense since December of 2008 against the Bills (in Toronto).
The Miami Dolphins (0-7) have been getting closer to putting a 60-minute effort together and capture win number one on the 2011 season. It doesn’t get any easier this Sunday as the Dolphins travel to Kansas City (4-3) to play the Chiefs at 1:00pm. Arrowhead Stadium is not an easy place to play for opposing teams, and the Chiefs are riding a four game winning streak!
With many fantasy drafts happening this week and early next week, it’s time to begin our 2011 fantasy football coverage! We’ll start with the quarterback position and why not? It’s a position that in most scoring formats earns more points than any other spot.
