Quarterback, quarterback, quarterback. Unless you’re a fan of a team with an elite QB, this is probably all you’ve been thinking about during this exceptionally quiet NFL off-season.
As far as the Dolphins go, they’ll be signing (or possibly trading for) a quarterback once they’re able to do so – this has been made clear by both GM Jeff Ireland and Head Coach Tony Sparano all summer.
Free Agency Questions for Jesse Agler…
Chris Boyle (Facebook): Once the lockout ends will the Dolphins go after a quarterback?
Jesse Agler: Absolutely. They pretty much have to just from a roster standpoint. Right now, Chad Henne is under contract. That’s it. There’s a chance (depending on what the new CBA says) that Tyler Thigpen will be back after he was tendered, but I would guess that the new rules will make him a free agent when they new league year starts.
