The Dolphins will play their final home game of the season as well as their final game of 2010 when they welcome the 4-10 Detroit Lions to Sun Life Stadium. While the 7-7 Fins have been eliminated from post-season contention, they are playing to not only get back above .500, but to win for just the second time at home this season.

The Dolphins were back at practice today in advance of Sunday’s home finale against the Lions and after practice, head coach Tony Sparano met with the media to discuss the match-up. Asked early on if he would give any consideration to using Tyler Thigpen as the starting quarterback in the final two weeks of the season, Sparano said that the teams needs to “continue to develop Chad [Henne].” He was later asked if he knows what he has in Henne and responded “I think I know a lot about him.” Other notes…
