I stumbled upon a great website today: Bolding Sports Research. I’ve yet to completely explore it, but I did click around enough to find the site’s collection of old Super Bowl cartoon art. A “Hall of Fame” collection of editorial cartoons that appeared in newspapers in the run-up to the Big Game each year, there is some great old stuff there.
