With the lockout now mostly in the rearview mirror, it’s time to start looking ahead and while there has been a ton of conversation about the players the Fins may go after in free agency, we’ve spent a little less time discussing the guys that could be leaving Miami.
The NFL released the official list of free agents this evening, and the Dolphins have 11 total free agents in three different categories.
The Miami Dolphins are together this weekend for FinsWeekend as current players, coaches, alumni and fans will all help raise a lot of dollars for the Miami Dolphins Foundation. There will be plenty of stories about who caught the biggest fish, or who hit the longest drive during each of the events. I’m not sure if the stories will be able to live up to reality, but one thing is certain, my money is on the golf group that gets quarterback Chad Henne!
Join the Finsiders today from 4-7pm for Dolphins Monday as we break down yesterday’s game. This afternoon we will be joined by Defensive End Tony McDaniel, Special Teams captain Patrick Cobbs, Tight End Mickey Shuler Jr. as well as Defensive Co-captain and safety Yeremiah Bell. We will also speak to Dolphins Head Coach Tony Sparano in studio at 6pm.
Chad Henne connected with Marlon Moore and Patrick Cobbs for touchdown tosses, while the team rushed for a season-high 186 yards on the ground.
The Dolphins offense stepped up in the absence of injured wide receiver Brandon Marshall who was out with a hamstring injury.
You can join Jesse Agler along with former Dolphins Sam Madison and Keith Sims as they co-host today’s show. Watch and listen on 940 WINZ or THEFINSIDERS.COM as we discuss the game with legendary coach Don Shula at 4:05.

The Ravens have been a thorn in the side of the Dolphins dating back to 2008 when they beat Miami twice, including an opening round playoff matchup. Coach Sparano made a point of mentioning the two games earlier this week, making note that the Ravens defense kept the Dolphins rushing attack in check.
