Last night on NFL Network’s Top 100 Countdown show, left tackle Jake Long was revealed not only as the 28th best player in the NFL as voted by his peers, but as the single best offensive lineman in the game today. Of the 13 total lineman put in the Top 100 by players around the league, Long was the highest rated, despite having only played three seasons in the NFL.

At this point of my rookie season I had recovered from my injury and was playing well on special teams. Playing against one of the best WRs in the NFL in Tim Brown, I got beat for a TD early in the game.
I’m a lucky guy. I get to talk and write about football all day. And I’m even luckier because of some of the guys I get to talk football with. One of those guys is Keith Sims. A three-time Pro Bowler as a member of the Dolphins, I’ve come to learn that Keith takes the Pro Bowl very seriously.
