With preseason games now underway, time for part two of our 2012 Fantasy Football Preview. Last week, James Morris examined the quarterbacks. Now he profiles the running backs:

1) Arian Foster: We start with the #1 player that should be taken in any fantasy draft format. He isn’t without risk as the Texans lost veteran RT Eric Winston and RG Mike Brisiel in free agency, but the zone-blocking scheme should guarantee continued success.

The running back position is an interesting one. While the value of the franchise quarterback has increased exponentially in recent years, we’ve seen a bit of a shift as far as RB value goes. Week 14

The 4-8 Dolphins look to make it four in a row at Sun Life Stadium and try to win for the fifth time in their last six games as they welcome the Philadelphia Eagles (also 4-8) to Sun Life Stadium for the first time since 2003.

The Dolphins lead the all-time series against Philly 7-5, but the Birds have taken the last two (2007 in Philadelphia and 2003 in Miami).

Inside The Eagles-Dolphins Match-up

By: Alexander Alvarez

The Philadelphia Eagles will roll into Sun Life Stadium holding the same 4-8 record as the Miami Dolphins but the record for both these teams is only the beginning of the story. In the off-season one could have easily said the Eagles were Super Bowl contenders, snatching up free agents Ronnie Brown, Vince Young, Nmanmdi Asomugha, and receiving Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie via trade for Kevin Kolb, with all these moves and more the Eagles were early favorites to make it all the way to the Super Bowl but since then self-proclaimed “Dream Team” has had an up and down season that has a lot of people wondering if the focus this off season should have gone elsewhere.
