The Dolphins continue to look for win number-one here in 2011 as they return to the Meadowlands for the second time in three weeks. This time, though, they are not facing the division-rival Jets, but rather the Giants.
These teams do not get together all that frequently as this is just the seventh all-time meeting between the blue New York team and the Fins.
In Hank Goldberg’s weekly segment, he interviews former Giants Pro Bowl linebacker, Carl Banks, who currently serves as the Giants radio analyst. Make sure to listen for Banks’ insight on how Tom Coughlin and the Giants organization have been able to maintain success, going six straight years without a losing season.
As the Dolphins return to work to face the Giants, we hear from quarterback Matt Moore, who talks about being settled in (or not); LB Cameron Wake, who discusses Eli Manning’s strengths and coach Tony Sparano, who has a very close relationship with his counterpart, Tom Coughlin:
Our own Sam Madison became a fan favorite here in Miami very quickly after arriving in 1997. He played for the Dolphins through 2005 and was a four-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro along the way. In 2006, though, Sam signed a contract with the New York Giants and would go on to win a ring with the team, as they defeated the previously unbeaten Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.
