The Show
The Finsiders is the Miami Dolphins’ multi-media show that airs every weekday afternoon from 5-7. The show can be heard on the radio in South Florida and watched live in high definition anywhere in the world on Dolphins.com. The show is anchored by Jesse Agler and each day, two analysts will join him to break down the latest Dolphins, NFL and sports news.
The highly interactive show also features the opinions of Dolphins fans from around the world. They can call the show at 1-8-555-GO-FINS; text their questions and comments to 347347; they can participate in the show’s live chat, which is a place for the fans and the on-air personalities to discuss the day’s topics; and they can reach out to the host and analysts on Twitter.
John Congemi
A member of the Broward County Sports Hall of Fame, John breaks things down football through the eyes of the quarterback. The first signal caller on The Finsider roster, he starred locally at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale and later at the University of Pittsburgh. At Pitt, he threw for more yards than any other quarterback in school history with the exception of Dan Marino. Congemi played professionally in the CFL from 1987-94 and twice helped lead his team to the Grey Cup. For the past ten years, John has worked as a college football analyst for ESPN and ABC.
Jesse Agler
Jesse keeps everyone on their toes as he breaks down the Dolphins and NFL news of the day as the host of The Finsiders. Jesse also co-hosts the Dan Marino Podcast and is the pregame, halftime and postgame host on the Dolphins Radio Network. A South Florida radio presence since early 2005, Agler has hosted several shows in the market and has also been part of the broadcasts of the Miami Hurricanes, Florida Marlins and Florida Panthers. A graduate of the University of Miami, he now resides in Delray Beach.
Jon Cope
The producer of the Finsiders, "Scope" is the behind-the-scenes guru in charge of guests and features for the show. Jon has worked in South Florida radio for nearly nine years having held a variety of positions including hosting shows, reporting on events, and producing The Hank Goldberg Show. A proud graduate of Florida State University, Jon also hosts a weekly Florida State radio show and podcast called "Seminole Shout."
KIM BOKAMPER
A first round pick of the Dolphins in 1976, Bo started two Super Bowls for Miami and has been a mainstay in the South Florida community for over 30 years. Whether it's on The Finsiders, on CBS-4, or at one of his "Bokamper's Sports Bar & Grill" locations (Plantation, Miramar and Naples), Kim is a larger than life guy with big opinions on the Dolphins and the NFL. He is also a natural predator of the Fintern.
Tristin Jones
Tristin Jones is the Finsiders Reporter and moderator of the live chat. She hangs out with the fans during the show and presents their best questions and comments to Jesse and the guys over the course of the two hours. Thankfully, Tristin’s previous experience working on the “Dr. Phil Show” helps her keep all the egos in check. A lifelong Dolphins fan, Tristin is also a graduate of the University of Central Florida, though she considers herself a Seminole at heart.
TROY DRAYTON
A second round pick of the LA Rams in 1993, Troy played nine NFL seasons, including four big years in Miami. Even though his career ended elsewhere, Troy always considered South Florida his home and is very active in the community. He is also very proud of the position he played, often telling people tight ends are the best athletes on the field. Jesse likes Troy because he played with current Hurricanes coach Al Golden at Penn State.
SAM MADISON
A four-time Pro Bowler with the Dolphins and a Super Bowl champion with the Giants, Sam brings his talents from the secondary to the Finsiders as the analyst who was most recently in the NFL. A big smile and bigger personality make any day that Sam is on the show a fun day, unless of course he is charged with speaking to a kicker or a punter.
TROY STRADFORD
The 1987 AFC Offensive Rookie of the Year, Troy is the little man with a lot of heart. A bit of a broadcasting veteran now, the former Dolphins running back talks about his days playing behind Dan Marino and brings great information to the table when talking about the running game. The shortest Finsider, Troy also hosts a daily show on 640-WFTL.
KEITH SIMS
Former Dolphins Pro-Bowl guard Keith Sims brings the perspective of a man who loves to talk about the battle in the trenches. His high expectations and no-nonsense approach to Dolphins football make him a tough man to please and he always brings strong opinions to the set. He is also the current president of the Miami Dolphins Alumni Association, a member of the gameday broadcast crew, and a leading member in the community.
TWAN RUSSELL
A local guy all the way, Twan starred at St. Thomas Aquinas (many years after Congemi), the University of Miami and with the Dolphins. A LB and standout special teamer for the Fins, Twan is not only active with his Life Skills and Reading Foundation, but he also serves as the Director of Youth Programs for the Dolphins.
